This Seminar Series is composed of multiple other COBRE programs: University of Nevada, Reno (Nevada Center of Biomedical Research Excellence in Molecular and Cellular Signal Transduction in the Cardiovascular System), Brown University (Cardiopulmonary Vascular Biology (CVBP), LSU-Shreveport (Center for Redox Biology and Cardiovascular Disease), Kansas Center for Metabolism and Obesity Research (KC-MORE)
The general goal of these meetings is to build a network of collaborations between programs of a similar (but not identical) focus (Obesity research-Cardiometabolic disease-Cardiovascular) by presenting ongoing research that could potentially foster collaborations between young and new investigators and possibly, between cores supported by COBREs.
